چکیده
The authors propose a simple theory of thermodynamic properties nitrogen solutions in liquid Ni–Cr alloys. This is completely analogous to the for alloys Fe–Cr and Fe –Mn systems proposed previously by 2019 2020. based on lattice model solutions. assumes FCC lattice. In sites this are atoms Ni Cr. Nitrogen located octahedral interstices. atom interacts only with metal neighboring it. interaction pairwise. It assumed that energy depends neither composition nor temperature. supposed system perfect. Shear bond strength of dental porcelains to nickel-chromium alloys.
The continuous technological advance and increasing availability of new base metal alloys and ceramic systems in the market, coupled to the demands of daily clinical practice, have made the constant evaluation of the bond strength of metal/porcelain combinations necessary. This study evaluated the metal/porcelain shear bond strength of three ceramic systems (Duceram, Williams and Noritake) in c...
متن کامل[Mechanical properties of metal-ceramic systems from nickel-chromium and cobalt-chromium alloys].
BACKGROUND/AIM Metal-ceramic bond strength and alloys' elastic modulus clearly determine the potential of alloy application, because the ceramic integrity during mastication depends on these two characteristics. The aim of this study was to evaluate metal-ceramic bond strenght and elastic modulus of cobalt-chromium alloys in making porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations, regarding the applicatio...
متن کاملOxide Surface Analysis of Nickel Based Chromium Alloys with the Aid of Auger Electron Spectroscopy
Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) has been used to study the surface compositions of three types of nickel based chromium alloys. These alloys are IN600, IN601 and C22. AES analysis indicated the presence of chromium and oxygen on their surfaces. The formation of this chromium oxide surface layer, 3 nm thick, provides excellent corrosion resistance. For alloy C22, no molybdenum was indicated on...
متن کاملPlasma spraying and characterization of chromium carbide – nickel chromium coatings
Chromium carbide – nickel chromium powder Cr3C2-25wt.NiCr was plasma sprayed by a water-stabilized system WSP®. A series of experiments with variable feeding distance was carried out. Basic characterization of coatings was done by XRD, SEM and light microscopy plus image analysis. Microhardness was measured on polished cross sections. The main focus of investigation was on resistances against w...
متن کاملInteractions between nitrogen, hydrogen, and gallium vacancies in GaAs1ÀxNx alloys
The effects of H on the interaction between Ga vacancies VGa and N in GaAs12xNx dilute alloys are studied through first-principles total-energy calculations. We find that N binds to Ga vacancies and that in the presence of H this binding is enhanced. The formation energy of VGa bonded to N and H ~resulting in a N-H-VGa complex! can be more than 2 eV lower than that of the isolated Ga vacancy VG...
